Selecting & Validating Models for ADC Efficacy & Safety

This workshop aims to dive into the strengths and limitations of various in vitro to in vivo models (PDX, syngeneic, humanised mice, organoids) for predicting ADC performance and addressing the movement towards new alternative methodologies and reducing animal use while maintaining predictivity.
Key Questions:
- How do we select the right animal model for each ADC programme?
- What are the best practices for translating mouse efficacy to human dose?
- How can organoids and MPS systems complement or replace animal studies?
- What regulatory guidance exists for NAMs in ADC development?
Case Study: Comparison of 2D, 3D & In Vivo Models for ADC Efficacy Screening
- Standard 2D models are suboptimal for ADC screening
- Several 3D models are more closely related to in vivo tumour models
- How do we bridge 3D and in vivo preclinical models?
