Associate Director QSP Bristol Myers Squibb
Ezgi Wood is an Associate Director in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) at Bristol Myers Squibb. In her position, she develops and employs mechanistic mathematical models for supporting both preclinical and clinical drug development, with a current focus on antibody-drug conjugates. Prior to working at BMS, she was a postdoctoral researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She received her PhD in Mathematics from Duke University.
Seminars
This workshop aims to dive into the strengths and limitations of various in vitro to in vivo models (PDX, syngeneic, humanized mice, organoids) for predicting ADC performance and addressing the movement toward new alternative methodologies and better understanding of PKPD dynamics to evaluate safety and efficacy.
Key Questions:
- How do we select the right animal model for each ADC programme?
- What are the best practices for translating mouse efficacy to human dose?
- How can organoids and MPS systems complement or replace animal studies?
