Kurt Pike is a highly experienced Drug Hunter and Medicinal Chemist who currently holds the role of Senior Director, External Innovation in J&J Innovative Medicines. Located at the EMEA Innovation Centre in London UK, Kurt is looking to connect with Entrepreneurs and Innovators to identify future collaboration opportunities, aligned with J&J’s strategic focus, to bring forward innovative new therapies to transform human health.

Kurt has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for ~30 years and has significant experience in both BD / External Innovation roles (~10 years, across both J&J and AstraZeneca) and as a Medicinal Chemist (>20 years, AstraZeneca). In these roles he has executed multiple collaboration & licensing deals and led internal Chemistry efforts resulting in the delivery of multiple clinical candidates across different therapy areas.
