Medical oncologist and clinical investigator with special interest in translational oncology, drug development, and breast cancer. Medical Oncology Consultant and Principal Investigator at the
Experimental Therapeutics Unit NEXT Oncology, situated within the Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid. My training includes a Medical Oncology fellowship at Hospital Clínico Universitario San Carlos in Madrid, a specialized fellowship in Drug Development and Breast Cancer at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre—UHN, a Master’s degree in Molecular Oncology from URJC/CNIO, and a PhD in Translational Oncology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, focused on breast cancer circulating genomic biomarkers. Driven by a commitment to improving the lives of patients through research and clinical excellence, I am particularly passionate about drug discovery and development, advancing our understanding of circulating multiomic profiling and monitoring in cancer, developing correlative strategies for clinical studies, and applying computational analysis to data from clinical repositories and preclinical models.
