Alan is currently the Vice President, Biologic Therapeutic Discovery at Amgen. Alan has broad experience at the interface of science, healthcare and commercialization. His experience includes founding and leading both the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine at Pitt, as well as the Disruptive Health Technology Institute at CMU. Alan has founded a number of successful startup companies including Agentase and BioHybrid Solutions. Rolling Stone Magazine has ranked Alan #32 on the “Top 100 People Who Will Change America” list!
